Kaydal's Rating:
I’m always lost in my new town. No more. I’m able to go anywhere with the assistance of my Nuvi 760 which now accompanies and guides me in all my excursions.
With my new traveling buddy, I don’t have to slow down to find a street sign; it gives notice of the upcoming street. When it’s time to turn, 760 tells me what the next turn will be so I can be in the right lane. If I alter 760’s chosen route, it corrects me to get me back on track, but will quickly recalculate the new route I’ve chosen.
This is the best gift I’ve given myself. I feel free. It’s very easy to learn and to use. Just a small warning: For me, I did some practice runs around the neighborhood because I was so fascinated with the device, I forgot to watch the road. In the end, I don’t have to watch, it simply talks to me.

I already have a Garmain 360 but I relinguished this to my son for his travels so I needed to replace mine. The 760 is just as easy to use and it has added feature of having that extra stop in your route which is very convenient to use. I also like the posted speed limit to show up on the screen because you sometimes don’t know in unfamiliar streets. I would recommend this product.

Just received my Garmin Nuvi 760 and loving it! Simple to use right out of the box… but it did take about 3 hours total to update the maps (free for first 60 days after registering the unit at garmin.com). Pairs up perfectly with my motorolla razor phone… and the sound quality through the auxillary jack is outstanding. If you have the extra cash I highly recommend visiting the “proclips” website and purchasing their 2 piece mounting systems — looks awesome in my ‘07 civic. The unit aquires satellites within 5-8 seconds upon turning on and prompts me to turns far in advance (some people previously complained that their nuvi 760 often told them to turn after the turn?? ). So far so good with my first garmin!

I own a Garmin Streetpilot 330 (first one), a nuvi 260, and a nuvi 760 with fm receiver. Very pleased with all 3. Have not had any real problems with them. I do regret having to buy three separate update cd’s, it gets a bit expensive. Still like them. very easy to use.
Paul Nesburg's Rating:
The Garmin Nuvi 760 is a great GPS for finding those sporting events, friends houses for the kids, and getting you home from where ever you might be.
Pros: Accurate directions, good web site for getting updates, easy to use, great display
Cons: Bluetooth is not worth the money, FM transmitter cannot find a good channel to use

I had read of delays in receiving signals in a “more timely” manner. I bought despite this and, quite frankly, have not experienced any delays. Further, the traffic function works quite well in the Washington D.C. area.
Overall the Garmin 760 worked just fine. In fact, I thought I knew the DC area well…the 760 took me ways that were surprisingly better. Go figure. It has also provided some entertainment as I chose the Australian voice…
